Items like backpacks and water bottles must be supplied by families.

At Trinity Catholic Schools we offer a high-quality Christ-centered early childhood education in half day options (morning or afternoon sessions) - 2-days, 3-days, or 5-days per week. We are also excited to offer a 5-day, full day option of prekindergarten and a 5-day, full day option for 3 year olds, called EduCare.

Early childhood education at Trinity Catholic Schools focuses on making learning a positive experience for the children. Our goal is to offer parents peace of mind where their child is concerned and to support the child’s growth and development. We believe all children should be given the opportunity to grow in a safe and nurturing environment. Additionally, we believe self-esteem is a critical component for optimal growth in every young child, thus much focus is on socialization, self-help skills, and cooperation.
Our early childhood education students are given the opportunity to explore, experiment and create at their own pace in a healthy environment. In terms of day-to-day learning, children have a letter of the week and work on numbers, shapes, colors and patterning. The children learn about the seasons, weather, and holidays.
The religion curriculum focuses on the love God has for us and sharing God's love with others. In the classroom, time is spent on bible stories, prayers, holy days and saints.- learn and live Gospel values through everyday classroom experiences;
- participate in imaginative play;
- utilize materials to express creativity through art and manipulatives to develop cognitive and motor skills;
- during scheduled free time, are able to choose activities best suited for their individual development of problem solving and social skills;
- focus (in older children) on basic kindergarten-readiness skills – writing their name; learning letters and sounds; shapes and colors; and early stages of sight-word recognition.
