MAY 1, 2026 - We are pleased to share that Mr. Tim Brooke ('11) has been named Assistant Grades 5-12 Principal and THS Activities Director for the upcoming school year.
While Tim has most recently served as Business Banking Officer at Bravera Bank, Tim brings a strong background in Catholic school leadership, student formation, and athletic program management. He previously served as Assistant Principal at Sacred Heart School in East Grand Forks, where he supported school operations, student discipline, staff collaboration, and family communication, with a focus on fostering a structured, supportive learning environment.
In addition to his administrative work, Tim has extensive experience in athletics and activities, having coached multiple sports and overseen programming that promotes teamwork, accountability, and excellence. He understands the importance of building strong extracurricular programs that enhance both student engagement and school culture, and he is eager to lead and grow the Trinity activities program in partnership with our staff and community. Tim’s background also reflects a deep commitment to Catholic education and faith formation. He has served as a theology teacher, Faith Activities Coordinator, and youth ministry leader with experience organizing retreats, fostering prayer opportunities, and chaperoning international pilgrimages. His formation includes a Certificate in Catholic School Administration, and he holds a North Dakota Secondary Principal Credential.
Tim’s leadership is grounded in strong communication, relationship-building, and a clear understanding of mission-driven education. He brings experience in school safety, scheduling, event coordination, and collaborative decision-making, along with a commitment to supporting staff and strengthening school culture. We are especially grateful to welcome Tim back to Trinity Catholic Schools as an alumnus, returning to serve his alma mater. His connection to our community, combined with his professional experience and deep faith, positions him well to lead and support both our students and staff. Those who have worked with Tim describe him as a man of integrity, loyalty, and faith who leads with both conviction and care. He understands the mission of Catholic education and lives it in his daily work.

FEBRUARY 11, 2026 - We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Baelee Karey has been named Principal of Trinity East and Trinity North for the upcoming school year. Mrs. JoLyn Tessier will continue her work as elementary principal at Trinity West, and serve as a mentor for Baelee in her new role.
Baelee has been a dedicated educator and leader within DPS and Trinity Catholic Schools since 2016. Throughout her tenure, she has consistently demonstrated strong instructional, organizational, and relational leadership through a variety of roles that support students, staff, and schoolwide systems. She has served as a 7th Grade Cross-Curricular Team Lead, coordinating instruction across content areas, as well as an Interventions Case Manager, where she supported data-informed decision making and targeted student supports. In her role managing behavioral paraprofessionals, Baelee has provided guidance, supervision, and clear communication to ensure cohesive support for students. She has also served as a Mentor Teacher, supporting educators in core content, special education, and behavioral interventions. Baelee has contributed to continuous school improvement as a member of the DPS School Improvement Committee and the SSIS Task Force, where she helped analyze data, guide instructional decisions, and support schoolwide initiatives. Her strengths in curriculum leadership, data analysis, scheduling, and meeting deadlines have been evident across these roles.
Currently, Baelee teaches Business Education and Computer Science at Trinity Junior High and High School, bringing an emphasis on real-world application, engaging instruction, and alignment with State standards. She is known for her ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff, students, and families, and for building strong partnerships with community members to support student learning and engagement. Above all, Baelee is deeply committed to advancing the Trinity Catholic Schools mission and vision. She is passionate about creating supportive, inclusive learning environments where students and staff can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. We are grateful to be able to recognize and promote leadership from within our own community.
